Max New York ties up with Pune based bank

Saturday 19, November, 2005 Max New York Life Insurance Company Limited a joint venture between Max India Limited and New York Life International has entered bancassurance with another Pune based bank, ?Rupee Co-operative Bank?. Last month it had signed a bancassurance agreement with 'Shree Suvarna Sahakari' cooperative bank located in Pune. This partnership is its sixth bancassrance tie up. The company will sell its products through the newly tied up bank, which has a clientele base of 80,000 customers. This is definitely a move by Max New York Life to widen its scope of selling life insurance products to more and more clients. The bank has 36 branches and 5 extension counters.
