Bajaj Allianz, the second largest private insurer

Thursday 29, September, 2005 Bajaj Allianz was incorporated in March 2001 and within four years it has achieved great heights. It has proved this with its recent performance. Having increased its market share of life insurance premium collected from 2.30% to 4.75%, Bajaj Allianz has become the second largest private insurer. However Birla Sun Life?s market?s share has dipped to 1.72% from 2.56%, showing a fall in the business premium. Bajaj Allianz has grown by 54%. It was 143.9% last year and it has increased to 198% in this fiscal.
